About

A monthly calmer museum visit with adjusted gallery displays and sensory activities.

Quiet Openings take place on the first Saturday of each month, except August, from 10am to noon. Large gallery screens are switched off and lighting is lowered where possible; sensory activities are available in the Learning Centre, and staff and volunteers can help. Some displays or interpretive panels may be switched off, while sound displays remain available with captions. No booking is required; standard admission charges apply.
