Hyung-ki Joo piano

Pianist Hyung-ki Joo gives a lunchtime recital of Chopin-inspired works by Mompou, Możdżer and himself, plus Ravel's La Valse.

Part of the Manchester Midday Music series at The Bridgewater Hall, this 50-minute lunchtime concert features pianist Hyung-ki Joo. The programme pairs Mompou's Variations on a Theme of Chopin and Możdżer's improvisation on Chopin's Prélude Op. 28 No. 7 with Joo's own Selection from Childhood and Ravel's La Valse. Joo is known for blending storytelling with virtuosic playing in a relaxed, engaging concert format.
