About

Emptyset perform their acclaimed audiovisual show at Attenborough Centre, with support from Simon Parris.

Emptyset, the multidisciplinary project of James Ginzburg and Paul Purgas, bring their audiovisual show to the Attenborough Centre for a one-off performance. Their work explores electroacoustic and computer music, materiality and performance, drawing on the histories of electronic and improvised music and detailed sound design. The show follows their sixth album Dissever (Thrill Jockey, 2025), which examines the intertwined evolution of cosmic rock, minimalism and electronic music. Support comes from London-based artist, DJ and NTS Radio host Simon Parris.
