Three Score Dance Takeover Day

An afternoon takeover by dance company Three Score Dance featuring performances of JUTE and BETWIXT, a daytime disco with a live DJ, and an optional intergenerational workshop.

Three Score Dance, whose performers are all aged 60+, take over the Attenborough Centre for an afternoon of dance and celebration. The programme opens with JUTE, choreographed by Takeshi Matsumoto, in which dancers playfully explore a twenty-metre jute rope before inviting the audience to dance along. A daytime disco with a live DJ follows at the bar, and the afternoon closes with BETWIXT, exploring the tension, humour and joy of being in-between. An optional 90-minute intergenerational workshop at midday, limited to 20 places, lets participants of any age explore themes from JUTE.
