Festive Soap Making at Byers Green, Spennymoor

A two-hour festive soap-making workshop at Byers Green Village Hall where participants craft at least four Christmas-scented soaps to take home.

Craft and Create North East CIC guides participants through making their own soaps using a melt and pour method, learning how to add fragrance oils, colours and inclusions to create signature Christmas-scented soaps. In the two-hour session each person makes at least four soaps to take home, with fragrance oils, mica powders, moulds and all safety equipment supplied. Participants must be aged 12 or over, with under-18s accompanied by a paying adult, and pregnant attendees are advised to seek medical guidance due to concentrated fragrance oils. The workshop is heavily subsidised by the National Lottery Community Fund.
