Photography Exhibition – Voices, Rhythms & Stories: Honouring Our Communities

A photography exhibition at Poplar Union celebrating Black artists who have performed there, part of Tower Hamlets Black History Month.

This exhibition gathers photographs spanning several years documenting the artists who have performed at Poplar Union, from solo performances and spoken word to jazz ensembles, vocalists and experimental collaborations. It honours Black artists whose work has shaped the local cultural landscape. The exhibition is displayed at Poplar Union and on Jena the Narrow Boat, and is supported by Tower Hamlets Council as part of the Black History Month Programme.
