Let’s Make & Mend for Black History Month

A community sewing workshop celebrating Black History Month, held aboard a Canal & River Trust boat.

This Make & Mend Sewing session welcomes participants of all abilities to develop their confidence and practical sewing skills. Attendees will work on projects such as tote bags, makeup bags, and cushions, learning techniques like template making, fabric cutting, and incorporating hardware. The event is hosted aboard Jenna, the Canal & River Trust’s community boat, providing a unique setting to share stories and connect with others.
