About
PHONING presents a live preview of debut album SPEED DIAL, using voice, modular synthesis and spatial electronic processing.
PHONING’s live set routes a telephone through a microphone input and reshapes the signal with electronic processing, exploring resonance, transmission and duration in an ambisonic composition. The event previews the duo’s debut album SPEED DIAL in Polygon Portal’s 360° system. The source identifies PHONING as Bojan Kostovic and Robin Sparkes, working with modular synth and an 88-key keyboard.
