Chop-chop! (VOILA! Festival)

Andrea Holland’s one-woman Spanglish comedy plays out a struggle between work-minded English and freewheeling Spanish.

The bilingual performance moves between two personas: one wants to send an email, while the other would rather sing, dance and cook. Andrea Holland uses physical comedy and audience interaction to explore bicultural identity and the tension between productivity and pleasure. The festival lists English and Spanish, a 12+ age recommendation, and some mild swearing. The published bill names: Andrea Holland.
