Black History Month 2026 – Aberdeen

A Black History Month celebration in Aberdeen with speakers, music and community networking at the Sir Duncan Rice Library.

This Black History Month event brings the Aberdeen community together for an afternoon of talks, music and cultural celebration under the theme 'Honouring Our Communities: Visioning, Collaboration and Growth'. Four speakers share stories and perspectives, moderated by Dr Loliya Kagher, with conversations on visioning, collaboration and community growth. The two-hour gathering also includes refreshments, fellowship and networking, and families and friends are encouraged to attend.
