About

A ten-lesson darbuka beginners course introduces hand positions, basic tones and Middle Eastern rhythms.

Participants practise dum and tak strokes and rhythms including Wahda, Maqsoum, Ayyub, Malfouf and Thurayya. Students need their own darbuka for practice between classes. The autumn cohort is marked sold out.
