Christmas Willow Workshops

Artist Jo Bolton leads two festive willow-craft workshops at Ushaw, making a willow angel in the morning and a starburst willow wreath in the afternoon.

Two hands-on willow workshops run by artist Jo Bolton of Abundant Earth take place at Ushaw on 6 December 2026. In the morning session (9.30am–12.30pm) participants craft a willow angel, while the afternoon session (1.30pm–4.30pm) focuses on making a starburst willow wreath suitable for indoor or outdoor display. Both sessions teach traditional willow weaving techniques, and each participant takes home their own festive decoration.
