Rush Christmas Decorations with Nadine Anderson

A sold-out three-hour basketry workshop weaving festive willow and rush Christmas decorations with master basketmaker Nadine Anderson.

Master basketmaker Nadine Anderson leads a hands-on workshop in which participants weave festive decorations such as angels, snowflakes and Christmas trees using Cambridgeshire-grown willow and locally harvested rush. Simple basketry and weaving techniques are taught, with no previous experience required, and all materials and tools are provided. The group is limited to eight participants, who also get a glimpse inside the house during a lunch break and enjoy cakes and pastries from Norfolk Street Bakery, leaving with their own handcrafted decorations.
