Royal Ballet Screening: Manon

The Royal Ballet presents a screening of Kenneth MacMillan's 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel, Manon.

Set in the seedy underbelly of 18th-century Paris, the story follows Manon, a native of the hedonistic underworld, who is caught between her love for the student Des Grieux and the riches of Parisian society. This signature work of The Royal Ballet is set to Jules Massenet’s score and features designs by Nicholas Georgiadis. The performance has an approximate runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes, including two intervals.
