Royal Ballet Live: Manon

The Royal Ballet presents Manon, a signature work based on Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel.

Set in 18th-century Paris, the story follows Manon, a native of the hedonistic underworld, as she navigates her love for the student Des Grieux against the temptations of Parisian society. This performance is based on Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel, featuring Jules Massenet’s score and Nicholas Georgiadis’s designs.
