Theatr Gwaun screens a live broadcast of The Royal Ballet's Manon, Kenneth MacMillan's 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost's novel. Set in the hedonistic underworld of 18th-century Paris, it follows Manon, torn between her love for the student Des Grieux and the temptations of wealth in Parisian society. The broadcast runs approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes with two intervals, set to Jules Massenet's score with designs by Nicholas Georgiadis.
