Dark Skies Walk

A guided night walk of 3-4 miles through Whinlatter Forest with stargazing and constellation spotting led by Jo from JAG Outdoors.

Jo from JAG Outdoors leads a walk of 3-4 miles on Whinlatter Forest trails after dark, using all the senses to explore the forest as night falls. Weather permitting, the group stops for stargazing, with amateur astronomer Jo on hand to help identify major constellations using star maps and guides. Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear, bring a torch (ideally with a red filter), and a warm drink; well-behaved dogs and children are welcome, with adult supervision rules for under-12s.
