Low-cost Optical Sensing for Healthcare
About
A Royal Society discussion meeting on nanoscale optical sensors for low-cost, data-rich healthcare sensing, organised by Professors Jeremy Baumberg and Duncan Graham.
This two-day discussion meeting at the Royal Society examines novel optical sensors operating at the nanoscale and their potential for low-cost, data-rich sensing in healthcare. The focus is on continuous biochemical information ('BioSensors 2.0') that goes beyond current physiological wearable or diagnostic sensors to probe health information across a variety of settings, asking which modalities can succeed. The meeting runs from 9am to 5pm on both days and is organised by Professor Jeremy J Baumberg FRS, FRSC and Professor Duncan Graham FRSC.
