About
A night-sky evening at Woolsthorpe Manor with telescope viewing in the North Orchard, planetarium shows, astronomy talks in the Manor House and an illuminated display around Newton’s apple tree.
The programme invites visitors to view constellations, planets and deep-sky objects with Melton and District Astronomical Society in the North Orchard, and welcomes visitors bringing their own telescope. Short timed talks in the Manor House are attributed to guest speakers from the Universities of Nottingham and Leicester. Visitors may explore the site from 17:00 to 20:00.
