Relaxed sessions

Monthly relaxed sessions offering a calmer, quieter museum environment for neurodivergent visitors and anyone who prefers reduced noise and lighting.

On the last Sunday of each month the museum adjusts its galleries for a calmer visit, with reduced sound levels, more consistent lighting, quiet spaces, clearer signage and staff support. Sensory backpacks and ear defenders can be borrowed, and a chill-out zone runs in the Wonderlab Studio on Level 3. Sessions are open to everyone, particularly neurodivergent visitors and those with sensory sensitivities; the café and cinema remain open as usual.
