Repair Cafe Abermaw/Barmouth

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where locals bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and coffee.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought in by the public, free of charge, while visitors wait over a cup of tea or coffee. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though most items are considered except microwaves for safety reasons. Visitors can watch and learn how repairs are done, and more volunteer fixers are welcome to come along.
