Get Writing with Coco

A Wednesday writing session offering playful prompts and a supportive group atmosphere for writers of any genre.

Get Writing is the longest standing group at the Writers Workshop. Each session offers a theme and focus, with gentle, playful prompts rather than formal instruction, and participants are free to write in any genre or for any purpose. The group is described as a safe, creative space where writers develop their own voice in the company of others. This session is facilitated by associate and nature writer Coco Lone Neal, whose work has appeared in The Guardian, The Clearing, Caught by the River and Motherlore Magazine, and runs for two hours.
