Folk Tale Adventures Creative Writing Workshop - Boudicca

A creative writing workshop where storyteller Carmel Page tells the tale of Boudicca, followed by discussion and writing your own response.

Storyteller Carmel Page performs the traditional story of Boudicca, the warrior queen, and the group discusses how this story of a strong female military leader resonates today. Participants then have time to write their own response or story and share it if they wish, leaving with ideas for using stories from the past in their writing. No experience is needed, and the session is part of a monthly series that people can join or leave at any point. The two-hour workshop takes place in person at The Writers Workshop in Sheffield.
