A free workshop series for young musicians aged 14–18 learning how to be in a band, ending with a live performance at Heart of Hawick.
AMPLIFY is a hands-on workshop series for young musicians aged 14–18 who want to learn how performing live in a band really works. Across six Monday evening sessions participants cover gig technology, bandcraft and audience connection, culminating in a live performance on the Heart of Hawick stage on Saturday 5 December. The programme is run in partnership with The Arches, Live Borders Arts & Creativity and Heart of Hawick, and is aimed at guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboard players and singers.
