Swanwick Lakes Wildlife Tots

Monthly indoor story-and-craft sessions followed by outdoor nature activities for preschool children and their carers.

Swanwick Lakes Wildlife Tots is a regular preschool session for children and their parents or carers. Each session begins indoors with a story and craft, then takes a short, gentle walk into the woodland for adult-led activities. On 24 November the group will make clay mushrooms, look for fungi and follow a mycelium trail, with bug hunting and mud-kitchen play also available. On 8 December the session turns to winter wildlife and festive woodland crafts, including wreath making and making winter homes for toy animals. Book child places only; wear long sleeves, long trousers and sturdy shoes or boots.
