About

An accessible hybrid performance night celebrating crip, disabled and chronically ill artists, with spoken word, dance and bed-based cabaret, livestreamed for remote audiences.

Criptopia is a multidisciplinary performance night centring crip, disabled and chronically ill artists, featuring work spanning spoken word, dance and bed-based cabaret. It combines live and digitally integrated performances and will be livestreamed, so people unable to attend or perform in person can take part online. The event prioritises accessibility with COVID safety measures including mandatory masks unless exempt, performer testing, air purification, a calm room and a fragrance-free policy. All profits go to the ME Association.
