About
A documentary about a peaceful community protest in Glasgow is being screened at Cousland Village Hall.
The documentary covers the spontaneous civil resistance in Glasgow's Pollokshields neighbourhood in May 2021, when residents gathered to stop the deportation of their neighbours. Director Filipe Bustos Seirra compiled video footage and witness statements to present this powerful portrait of peaceful protest. The screening is free, and nibbles and drinks are available for a donation.
