Exhibition: Coconut Shy (FRUITFUL)
About
A free circus-themed group exhibition by eight 2025 RIPE graduate artists exploring speculative story-telling, at God's House Tower.
Coconut Shy is part of FRUITFUL, a six-week programme of exhibitions by emerging artists in Southampton rooted in 'a space' arts' RIPE graduate scheme. Eight 2025 graduates have worked collaboratively over the past year on this circus-themed exhibition, which uses speculative story-telling as a framework for individual practices and collective imagining. The show runs in the Main Gallery and Barker-Mill Project Space, with a free launch party on Friday 6 November from 6–9pm and a free artist-led tour and discussion closing event on Sunday 15 November from 2–4pm. Quiet hours with dimmed lighting and lowered sound run every Thursday morning from 10am–12pm.
