Workshop: Intro to Printing with Tetra Pak led by Mandy Smith

A small-group hands-on printmaking workshop where artist Mandy Smith teaches drypoint printing on Tetra Pak carton plates using an intaglio press.

Artist Mandy Smith leads an intimate printmaking workshop for just four participants aged 16 and over. Participants experiment with mark-making on Tetra Pak plates using drypoint tools and household objects, ink their test plates using the intaglio method and print them through a press, before designing and creating their own small plate. All materials and tools are provided, and attendees are advised to wear clothes they don't mind getting inky.
