The Family Photograph in Contemporary Art with Kevin James (ZING Social)

A free two-part evening workshop with photographer Kevin James exploring how family photographs can be used in contemporary art practice.

Photographer and ZING member Kevin James leads a two-part workshop at God's House Tower on using family photographs in contemporary art. The first session examines how family photography developed and how its meanings shift over time, discussing photographic theory and the work of four artists across sculpture, photography and writing, alongside Kevin's own recent work. Participants then create their own work between sessions and present it in the second evening, with the GHT café and bar open throughout.
