The Reader's open-air cinema returns to Calderstones Mansion for spooky season, showing the 1993 PG-rated Halloween favourite Hocus Pocus (running time 1 hour 36 minutes) under a giant canopy in the garden's heated tent. The film follows crafty witches, a talking cat and a race against the clock in a family-friendly Disney adventure. Attendees can arrive early for music, food and drinks, and general admission ticket-holders should bring a low-backed chair. All profits support The Reader's charitable work.
