Yiddish Revolutionaries – a forgotten history, music from Yoyvel

An inspiring performance blending Yiddish song and Klezmer music to share the history of the Jewish Left in Northern Europe.

This performance uses Yiddish song and Klezmer music to share selected moments in the history of the Jewish Left in Northern Europe. It tells a story of poverty and resistance, tracing the experience from Eastern Europe in the late 19th century through to contemporary Britain.
