About

Equilibrium String Quartet presents piano chamber music by women composers, with cellist Hilary Browning and pianist William Bracken.

The programme includes works by Dorothy Howell, Jennifer Higdon, Nadia Boulanger, Unsuk Chin, Clara Schumann and Louise Farrenc, including Farrenc’s Piano Quintet in A minor. Violinists Kate Richardson and Kate Sturt and violist Rachel Jones join cellist Hilary Browning; pianist William Bracken performs the piano works and solo pieces.
