About
A 90-minute guided walking tour exploring the history of Winchester's toilets, marking UN World Toilet Day.
Winchester Area Tourist Guides lead a 90-minute walking tour on the history of the city's sanitation, timed for UN World Toilet Day on 19 November. Starting at the Winchester Visitor Information Centre, the walk covers how Winchester dealt with its waste from medieval monks and merchants to the Victorian 'Muckabites'. A donation from the ticket price goes to the WaterHarvest charity.
