About
A practical workshop exploring knitted-textile repair and darning techniques.
Textile artist Celia Pym leads a day exploring repair in knitted and wool textiles. Participants practise woven and “fake knitted” darning and may bring damaged sweaters, socks or wool accessories to discuss and mend. Darning materials are provided; no previous knitting, darning or needlework experience is necessary. The fee includes lunch, refreshments and materials. Booking is essential because places are limited; contact The Art Shop or Chapel.
