Hilary Mends leads an intimate two-hour workshop on mending much-loved clothes using hand sewing techniques, with a different theme each session. Participants learn practical and decorative stitches and how to apply them to different garments such as shirts, denim, skirts, school uniform and leggings. All materials are provided, and attendees can bring an item of clothing for group advice; everyone takes home a sample swatch of stitches and an information sheet. Suitable for beginners and those with some sewing knowledge, with optional kits available to purchase.
