Engineering Academy

An after-college engineering academy session for Year 10 and 11 students, part of a six-week Future Engineers club with hands-on workshop projects.

This session launches the college's Future Engineers School Club, a six-week programme for Year 10 and Year 11 students interested in engineering. Participants design and manufacture practical projects using CAD, CNC machines, milling, turning and fabrication techniques in the college's specialist engineering workshops, working towards a finished project such as an engineered clock. The sessions run from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm and aim to give a taste of studying and working in engineering.
