Elevate Festival – Scratch Night workshop

A free discussion-led workshop for early-career artists on working with venues, part of Elevate Festival.

Hosted by Cait Laws (Exeter Northcott Programme Producer) and Katy Danbury (Exeter Phoenix Performance Programmer), this informal session helps early-career producers, self-producing artists and performance makers understand the relationship between companies and venues. Topics include deal memos, interpreting venue technical specifications, managing communication from booking to performance day, and avoiding common pitfalls that create unexpected costs. The 60-minute session is part of Elevate Festival, a week-long celebration of new work by South-West artists.
