About
Grammy-nominated blues multi-instrumentalist Guy Davis performs an evening of roots, blues and folk storytelling at The Acorn.
Guy Davis, a two-time Grammy nominee for Best Traditional Blues, brings his blend of roots, blues, folk, rock, rap, spoken word and world music to The Acorn. His songs address social injustice and life struggles through lyrical storytelling, underpinned by guitar and banjo fingerpicking. The show mixes his own original material with classic covers by the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Bob Dylan.
