Crux fidelis / Domine, ne memineris

A Monday-evening choral workshop series exploring the sacred music of Jacobus Clemens non Papa, led by Scott Inglis-Kidger.

Early Nights is a series of ten Monday-evening choral workshops this autumn devoted to Jacobus Clemens non Papa (c1510-1556), the prolific sixteenth-century Low Countries composer. Each two-hour session explores a selection of his sacred motets and Mass movements, with expert coaching from Scott Inglis-Kidger and break-time refreshments. The workshops are aimed at experienced choral singers comfortable with polyphony, who are expected to prepare music in advance or sight-read proficiently. Booking is by ballot, with a waiting list now open.
