Amavit sum Dominus / Tu es Petrus
About
A Monday-evening choral workshop exploring Clemens non Papa's motets Amavit sum Dominus and Tu es Petrus, led by Scott Inglis-Kidger.
This session is part of Early Nights, Platinum Consort's autumn series of Monday-evening choral workshops devoted to the sixteenth-century Franco-Flemish composer Jacobus Clemens non Papa. On 2 November singers will work on the sacred motets Amavit sum Dominus and Tu es Petrus under the direction of Scott Inglis-Kidger. The two-hour session includes expert coaching and refreshments, and is aimed at experienced choral singers comfortable with polyphony who prepare music in advance or sight-read proficiently. Participants print their own music from emailed PDFs.
