Early Nights: Exaudi Domine orationem meam
About
A chamber choral workshop exploring Clemens non Papa's motet Exaudi Domine orationem meam, coached by Scott Inglis-Kidger.
Early Nights is a series of Monday-evening choral workshops devoted this autumn to the sacred music of Jacobus Clemens non Papa, the prolific sixteenth-century Franco-Flemish composer. In this session singers work on his motet Exaudi Domine orationem meam in a small chamber-sized group with expert coaching from Scott Inglis-Kidger, founder and director of Platinum Consort. The workshops are aimed at experienced choral singers comfortable with polyphony, who are expected to prepare the music in advance or sight-read proficiently; singers print their own PDF scores at home.
