The Fragrant Garden: Perfume Creation Workshops

A half-day hands-on perfume creation workshop with perfumer Jonathan Gilhooly, where participants explore fragrance families and blend a signature scent to take home.

This half-day workshop introduces the world of perfumery, covering essential oils, fragrance components and 'secret' ingredients that transform simple blends into perfume. Participants learn about fragrance families, experiment with perfumery ingredients and create their own signature scent to take home in a bottle. All materials and equipment are provided and no previous experience is necessary. The session is led by Sussex-based artist, perfumer and teacher Jonathan Gilhooly, founder of Olfactory.
