Trustee Basics Training | November 2026

An in-person introductory training course for new charity trustees covering the role, responsibilities and effective carrying out of trustee duties.

Sheffield Volunteer Centre runs this six-hour introductory course for people who have recently become charity trustees. Through in-person interactive sessions, participants explore and understand the role and responsibilities of a trustee and how to carry out their duties effectively and have impact. The sessions include opportunities for questions and discussion, with signposting to further sources of information and guidance. Places are limited to three per organisation.
