Supporting and Managing Volunteers Training

An in-person entry-level training session for anyone who leads, manages or supports volunteers, covering law, policies, recruitment, safety and challenging situations.

Community Southwark is running an in-person training session on supporting and managing volunteers, running from 10am to 3:30pm with lunch included. Topics include volunteering and the law, creating and using volunteer policies and procedures, recruiting and retaining volunteers, volunteer safety and risk, and handling challenging situations constructively. The session is entry level and aimed at organisations of any size that involve volunteers, and attendees can also get one-to-one advice from the volunteering team. Places are limited and sign-up closes on 30 September.
