Family Twilight Event

A family woodland trail at dusk combines wildlife challenges, bat detectors, UV lights, owl-pellet discovery and a weather-permitting saltmarsh walk and stargazing.

Families follow an interactive trail through the woods as Gibraltar Point turns to night, using bat detectors and UV lights and completing wildlife challenges. At the Coastguard Station, participants dissect owl pellets and have hot chocolate; weather permitting, the evening ends with a saltmarsh walk and stargazing. The Trust recommends it for children aged 6–11 and limits attendance to two adults per child.
