About

A lunchtime chamber concert pairing the Mirari Quartet with pianist Daniel Tong for Haydn and Bridge.

The Mirari Quartet, formed in 2024, joins St George's regular pianist Daniel Tong for a lunchtime concert in the main hall. The programme comprises Haydn's String Quartet in C, Op 20 No 2, followed by Frank Bridge's Piano Quintet in D Minor. The quartet made its international debut in April 2026 performing Nielsen in Copenhagen and has collaborated with the BBC and ensembles including the Sacconi and Piatti Quartets; the concert is presented in partnership with Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival and is suitable for ages 8+.
