About

Kizomba & Semba School Maidenhead leads weekly all-level dance sessions. The syllabus covers Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha and Konpa, with structured teaching for beginners and absolute beginners followed by a social dance.

This is a weekly dance class rather than a performance. The session is "Led by Kizomba & Semba School Maidenhead" and is open to all levels, including absolute beginners. Participants learn fundamentals of Kizomba and Semba through a structured syllabus, with additional material from Tarraxinha and Konpa. The programme also introduces the cultural and historical context behind the dances, helping learners understand the music and movement as connected traditions. Sessions are held on Thursdays, with teaching followed by social dancing so participants can practise with others in a friendly setting.
