Half Term Block Printing Workshop
About
Kayleigh Robinson leads a 45-minute family printmaking workshop. Children aged four to eight cut simple shapes and patterns into foam, apply colour and make their own block-printed artwork. All printing materials are provided, and each child takes home the finished piece.
In this 45-minute half-term workshop, Kayleigh Robinson introduces block printing with foam. Children create simple shapes and repeat patterns, then experiment with colour and composition to make a printed artwork. Because the format is short and materials are supplied, participants can focus on exploring ink and design rather than bringing equipment. The workshop is aimed at ages four to eight. Every attending child must be accompanied by a paying adult, with families working together to prepare and print their design before taking the finished artwork home.
