Gianni Schicchi (or Where There's A Will)

OperaUpClose presents a 21st-century reimagining of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, rewritten by Hannah Kumari and directed by PJ Harris, at Park Theatre.

OperaUpClose presents a new version of Puccini's classic comic opera, rewritten by Hannah Kumari and reorchestrated by Vahan Salorian, directed by PJ Harris. Set in the fictional seaside town of Harmouth, the story follows a wealthy second-home owner's final soirée that unravels as the local fixer Gianni Schicchi intervenes, in a satirical take inspired by modern whodunnits such as The White Lotus and Knives Out. Performed in English with captions integrated into the set design, the show runs 65 minutes with no interval and is aimed at audiences aged 10 and over.
